England vs India Test series Schedule release by EWB

The England and Wales Cricket Board (EWB) has released the schedule for the upcoming Test series between India and England. Next summer, we will witness the clash between the two teams, promising a season full of action and fun for the fans. 

Both the England men‘s and women’s teams will play an important series against India. England men will play a five-day test series while England Women will play five T20Is and three ODIs.

Men’s Test Series Eng vs Ind

  • 1st Test: June 20-24, Leeds
  • 2nd Test: July 2-6, Birmingham
  • 3rd Test: July 10-14, Lord’s 
  • 4th Test: July 22-26, Manchester
  • 5th Test: August 2-6, The Oval

Women’s T20Is and ODIs Eng vs Ind

  • 1st T20I: June 28, Nottingham 
  • 2nd T20: July 1, Bristol
  • 3rd T20:  July 4, The Oval
  • 4th T20:  July 9, Manchester
  • 5th T20:  July 12, Birmingham
  • 1st ODI:  July 16, Southampton
  • 2nd ODI: July 19, Lord’s
  • 3rd ODI:  July 22, Chester-le-Street

Leeds will host the first England-India Test from June 20. The second Test will be played in Birmingham from July 2. The third Test will be played at Lord’s from July 10 with Manchester and The Oval scheduled to host the fourth and fifth Tests respectively. India women’s tour of England begins with five T20Is: on June 28 (Nottingham), July 1 (Bristol), July 4 (The Oval), July 9 (Manchester) and July 12 (Birmingham). This will be followed by three ODIs on July 16, July 19, and July 22 to be played in Southampton, Lord’s, and Chester-Le-Street respectively.

Summer 2025 will begin with a Test match against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge on May 22. After the Test,  England will host a series against West Indies before the arrival of India for three ODIs and three T20Is for both men’s and women’s teams. In September, the men’s team will play South Africa in three ODIs and three T20Is and will alter travel to Ireland for three ODIs.
