New Zealand Vs Australia Match Analysis and Prediction

The first T20I of the series have been mixed with exciting batting performances and smart bowling on both teams. The first T20I match at the Sky Stadium, Wellington saw Australia nail down a mammoth chase of 216 with six wickets and no balls to settle with, all thanks to a fantastic unbeaten 72 from captain Mitchell Marsh and a cameo from Tim David. New Zealand innings was driven by Devon Conway’s and Rachin Ravindra half-centuries and he was playing his T20I debut.

The third T20I is due to be another edge-of-the-seat clash with both teams having exhibited their ability to deal with varied playing conditions and circumstances. Bowling at Eden Park is mostly suited for batting as the pitch is short-bounded and the outfield is fast.

But bats could also get some bounce and swing out of the pitch. It can be done while it is daytime but more so during the night. The forecast for the match day is partly cloudy in some regions, with a low possibility of light rain.

Both teams are expected to stick with the team that has done well in the previous matches by selecting the same XI playing combination. Nevertheless, they can tweak some little things to help suit the dot ball and the first ball. The thought of New Zealand about bringing in Mark Chapman or Josh Clarkson to replace the non-performing Glenn Phillips is possible. Australia may go with Mathew Short or Pat Cummins for Travis Head and Josh Hazlewood, who are amazing so far.

New Zealand Vs Australia 3rd T20I Winning Prediction

It is hard to make a prediction for this game as one could not say that either team is better than the other, as they have all demonstrated the ability to fight for the win. But, based on the recent run and game, New Zealand could have a slight advantage over Australia using the home advantage and the confidence of the last victory.

However, Australia will not let the game slip from its hand and also try to bounce back. The match can be expected to be nail-biting to the end, the team that plays its nerves well being the ultimate winner at the torrid moments. Consequently, we expect New Zealand to be the victors of the encounter.
