Sri Lanka will host India in the last T20I of the three-game series on Tuesday, July 30 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Two exhausting and extremely competitive days of cricket have resulted in a number of exciting and closely contested matches. Despite the thrilling play, India easily won both matches, gaining an insurmountable lead.

The first match saw a great bowling comeback, with the Men in Blue dismantling the hosts’ resistance, taking nine wickets and giving only 30 runs. This outstanding performance led to a miraculous 43-run comeback triumph.

Meanwhile, the primary feature of the second game was Ravi Bishnoi and the batting line-up stepping up in a rain-shortened match to help the side over the line using the DLS (Duckworth-Lewis-Stern) technique.

Both clubs are expected to make some modifications to their playing combinations for the third and final game.

Given that the surface has been used in both prior matches, the involvement of spinners is expected, although fast bowlers will still have plenty of opportunities to play with their variations. The previous two games were also high-scoring affairs, so the final game is sure to follow suit. Anything more than 200 can be considered a fighting total at the venue.
